Mattia Tosin

My name is Mattia Tosin, student in the Bachelor programme Econometrics and Data Science at the VU Amsterdam. One of my main interests concerns the study and implementation of data science methods to solve business problems and improve the efficiency of business processes. Nowadays, we produce an immense quantity of data, and I believe that this potential information is not exploited as much in industry as it should. By expanding and deepening my knowledge about models and methods in data science and econometrics, I wish to explore new solutions that can be used to optimise processes and accelerate digital transformation, while reducing dependency on hard-to-hire skills and legacy roles.
