Gerrit Stemerdink

Gerrit Stemerdink (1941) worked as a statistician at several research institutes. After a forced early retirement in 1994 he became a part-time volunteer at the Permanent Office of the International Statistical Institute ISI. He has always been very active in the Dutch Society for Statistics and Operations Research VVSOR, since 2000 he is copy editor of its quarterly magazine STAtOR. He is an Elected Member of the ISI and an Honorary Member of the VVSOR.
