Berlin
From the 30th of June until the 4th of May, the study trip to Berlin took place. In this study trip lots of memories were made. In this article. Jonathan tells us about his experience.
After we checked into the hotel, a wonderful week in Berlin could begin. As a committee we had come up with a full but also varied program. On the first day we had a view over the city from the Fernsehturm, because this tower is so high you had an overwhelming view over the city from there. After this activity we went for typical German food and then drank German beers on the terrace.
On Sunday we visited a lot of highlights in the morning, we visited the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag and the Holocaust memorial. In the afternoon we did a bike tour through the city, a super enthusiastic guide showed us many special places in the city. In the evening we had dinner at a great Lebanese restaurant and then went out to the Matrix, a very nice club. On Monday we had a relatively quiet day, we had a tour through the Berlin bomb shelters and for the rest there was a lot of room to do something for yourself. On Tuesday we had a super fun and full program. We visited the east side gallery, a piece of Berlin wall that is painted with "beautiful" art. In the afternoon we followed a graffiti spraying workshop and then got a graffiti tour through the city, we had dinner at an excellent vietnamese restaurant and then went out with the whole group in the Matrix, it was a legendary evening that would not soon be forgotten. On Wednesday we visited another palace and then to travel back to Amsterdam.
It was super fun to organize this trip together with my committee. I enjoyed it very much. It was a trip to remember and we look back on it with pride and great pleasure
