Nominate a Student for the StudenTalent Award 2026 – Win €2,000 and Exclusive Mentorship

Are you – or do you know – a talented and driven SBE student who goes above and beyond? Someone
who combines academic excellence with outstanding societal, cultural, or personal achievements?
Then it's time to shine. Nominate yourself or a fellow student for the StudenTalent Award 2026 for
a chance to represent SBE, gain university-wide recognition, and win a €2,000 cash prize plus
mentorship from a successful VU alumnus.

Who Can Be Nominated?
To be eligible, the nominee must:

• Be a final-year Bachelor’s or a Master’s student at SBE;
• Be enrolled as a full-time student;
• Be no more than one year behind in their studies;
• Be under the age of 30.

What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate:

• Has made remarkable societal or cultural contributions,
• Demonstrates exceptional organizational, creative, leadership, or athletic talent,
• Is entrepreneurial, intrinsically motivated, resilient, and pushes boundaries;
• Serves as a role model for other VU students;
• Is a connector who actively contributes to the SBE and VU community.

How to Nominate:
Nominations can be self-submitted or made on behalf of another student. To nominate, send a
brief motivation letter (maximum one page) that clearly explains why this student deserves the
award. Be specific — include concrete examples that demonstrate how the nominee meets the
criteria above.

Deadline:
Submit your nomination by 23 October 2025, via e-mail to k.snel@vu.nl.

Each faculty may nominate only one student. The SBE Faculty Board will review all submissions and
select one student to represent SBE in the university-wide competition.

Award Ceremony:
The winner of the VU StudenTalent Award 2025-2026 will be announced during VU Education Day
on March 11, 2027. The winner will receive:
• A €2,000 prize;
• Mentorship from a VU alumnus to support their personal and professional growth.
