Last update: 23rd of July 2021
The introduction week is the time of the year where first years get to know their prospective fellow students. During this week a lot of fun activities take place where they get to know the VU and Amsterdam a little better. De VU and Kraket will make sure that it will be a fun week! However, we are still not back to the normal that we used to. This means that the upcoming introduction week probably takes place in a hybrid form, where study related activities will be online and social activities in real life. The full introduction week takes place on the 25th, 26th, 27th, 30th, 31st of August 2021. There is also a possibility to follow the two-day program on the 30th and 31st of August 2021. This two-day program will be fully online. To get to know your future studyfriends, it is important to make a notation in your diary and sign up here. It is possible to sign up until the 18th of August 17.00.
The VU places updates about the introductionweek in the VU Introduction Days App. In this app you can find the latest news about the corona measures, the program and diverse sneak peeks of the activities that will take place! You can download the app via Google Play Store or the App Store.
Next to the introduction week, we usually also offer an introduction weekend. During this weekend you can get to know the first year students even better, so the start of the year will be a little easier and more fun. Unfortunately we cannot organize the introductionweekend as we usually did. However, we are trying to organize two seperate days filled with activities on the 3rd and 4th of September 2021.
More information will follow later. If you have any questions about the introduction period you can contact the Introduction Committee via email@example.com
